If your planning a visit to Buckeye Machine soon, please be aware that the Chicago, Ft. Wayne & Eastern Railroad (CFE) has announced a track improvement project enabling 40-mph train speeds across the entire 315-mile rail line from Tolleston, Ind., to Crestline, Ohio.  What this means for the Village of Forest, is an increase in train traffic.  Please be alert at the town crossings and note trains will be running more frequently and also at higher speeds on certain segments of the tracks.  Crossings now being increased to 40mph train speeds are in Allen County, Indiana and in Crawford, Wyandot, Hardin, Allen and Van Wert counties in Ohio.   We want you to arrive safely to visit our facilities!
