Problem: The customer had to integrate a new steel stamping into an existing robotic spot welding application. 

Solution:Buckeye Machine took the existing robot, welder, control package and designed and manufactured a new fixture to locate and hold the new part. The whole system was retrofitted and updated to today’s industry standards. The system was completely tested and debugged at Buckeye’s facility.

Improvements:

• Saved costs by using existing robot, welder and control package
• Integrated a new turntable for higher production rates
• Custom fixture was built for new steel stamping
